My final entry for Stage 3 of the doodle addicts challenge! I have loved doing these challenges. They have not only got me drawing things I wouldn't have considered off my own back, but they have brought me out of my comfort zone too. Drawing steam is harder than I thought!!!
Im Kurt and new to Doodle Addicts. Loneliness and anxiety dominate my life and are reoccurring themes in my art. It wasn't until recently, after countless jobs, countless attempts, and thousands of dollars in school debt, that I realized it is what it is. At this point, I am trying to learn how to express myself through art and build a community without the pain from before. Here's the original description for the submission: Future you calling is a group that mixes electronic pop and rock with some vintage and retro vibes thrown in the mix. To Whom It May Concern is their newest album. It's like that strange record that you once found on the slightly shady flea market that closed down after one month. You wish you had bought it back then, so now is your chance to repair the damage and get this album instead. It's almost the same. We promise. (Future you calling is an invented band. I'm not musically skilled enough to make the band reality but I can always imagine how their albums would look like if existed. This illustration was painted in Photoshop using reference photos found on Pexels.)

I started this with the Doodle Addicts Pre/post quarantine diptych drawing challenge in mind, but I didn't make the deadline (I started it on the day of the deadline, so it was a little ambitious!). The first half of the drawing represents before the corona virus and the second half is after the virus and kind of living with it. No pencil, just straight into the drawing with ink. It's rough, but I like how it turned out and there are some fun characters.

Re-doodling after five years! Five years after joining Doodle Addicts, I decided to redraw my 47th upload and share it as my 431st upload to see how much I've progressed.
As an amateur artist, painting on a canvas and “ruining it” is a fear that grappled me ever since I could first paint. I didn’t believe in myself to accurately represent my emotions and over the years it has stopped me from painting at all. But today ,i break that, i have created a piece for me ,myself and I and on that note, this sixteen year old artist finally begins her journey on doodle addicts!
I've missed posting on Doodle addicts and checking out everyone's work. My paid work took over last week. I started this doodle in the beginning of the week and it became more of a "pen painting."
This is the third post so far on Doodle Addicts....and i'm really enjoying this site so far. I'm thinking about starting to post some creatures as well as these landscape type doodles. Tell me what you think! I would greatly appreciate any feedback on my art, comments, tips, etc.

I never knew doodle bombing was a thing until I joined Doodle Addicts. I recently got Sketchbook for iPad. Started playing with the photo import feature and began doodling over the image. I picked a photo that would make me happy every time I opened the file.
My first post for doodle addicts! a evil alien looking jellyfish lol. Originally I wanted it as my member picture but I haven't figured out how to update that part of my profile.
I saw someone else on Doodle Addicts doing really great bookmarks and I remembered that last winter, when I couldn't seem to do anything else creative, I made a bunch of bookmarks. It's a way of trying out things, and using fun media like these glitter pens I inherited.
